    Agreed with you before a sample is made.

    • ShellGenuine cowhide leather for premium lines, microfibre or Maya hide for sparring stock, or PU for entry-level and youth gloves, confirmed against your specification before sampling.
    • PaddingKnuckle padding set by the glove type, from minimal on competition gloves to injection-moulded foam on sparring gloves, 4 to 10 oz.
    • ClosureHook-and-loop wrist strap, specified per order.
  2. On the sample

    Confirmed on the physical sample you approve.

    • Palm and fingersOpen palm with finger loops, or loop-free on grappling gloves, cut and sized on the sample.
  3. Before bulk

    Fixed before bulk production begins.

    • SizesGloves S to XL and shin guards XS to XL, adult and kids', with the split confirmed against your quantity before bulk.

    Bulk is then made and checked against the approved sample.

Every one of these is performed and recorded before the order leaves the workshop.

How each order is inspected against your sample

  • Each glove weighed against its type, from 4 oz competition to 10 oz heavy bag.
  • Knuckle padding compared with the approved sample for that glove type.
  • Finger loops and open palm checked for size and stitching.
  • Hook-and-loop wrist strap checked for a secure closure.
  • Shin guards checked for coverage, padding and their sock or strap fit.
  • Pairs counted by size, S to XL, and packed as agreed.

What is the difference between MMA competition and sparring gloves?

Competition gloves are typically 4 oz, with minimal padding and exposed fingers for bouts. Sparring gloves are typically 7 to 8 oz, with much thicker foam over the knuckles to protect a training partner, while keeping the open palm for grappling.
