Materials

Genuine leather, PU and technical fabrics for custom fight gear.

The outer material sets the feel, the lifespan and the cost per piece. Both leathers are built to the same construction.

  • A close-up of genuine leather, its grain and natural variation visible.

    Genuine leather

Cowhide or buffalo, for premium gloves, professional belts and heavy-duty gear.

    • Moulds to the hand and softens with use
    • The most durable choice for heavy bag and pad work
    • Carries a DTF or heat-transfer logo
    • Higher cost per piece
  • A close-up of synthetic PU leather, its even surface and consistent colour.

    No animal leather

    Synthetic and microfibre leather

PU, Rexine or Maya hide for training gloves and pads; microfibre as a premium, tear-resistant alternative to leather.

    • Lower cost per piece at the same construction
    • A consistent surface for print and bright colours
    • Weather-resistant and easy to wipe clean
  • Black and red stretch performance fabric joined by a red overlocked seam.

    Cotton and blends

Gym T-shirts, hoodies, joggers and sweatsuits

Glove construction

Boxing glove construction: weight, padding, lining and closure.

The glove type sets the padding and the weight, so it is the first thing we agree with you.

A black and red leather boxing glove shown exploded into its outer shell with the Sparwright logo on the cuff, the inner lining, four layers of padding foam, the hook-and-loop wrist strap and a printed care label.

Branding

Three custom branding methods, all done in-house.

The method follows the material and the design. We confirm which suits each product on your mockup, and print your care and brand labels in-house too.

  • A black rashguard printed edge to edge with red and grey geometric panels, the sublimated print running across a seam, a printer feeding out transfer paper behind.

    Sublimation

    Best on
Rash guards, fight shorts, spats, compression wear, inner linings
    Finish
Full colour, edge to edge; the dye is in the fabric, so nothing cracks or peels
  • Hands peeling the clear carrier film back from the Sparwright logo heat-transferred onto the cuff of a black boxing glove, a heat press above and more cut transfers of the logo beside it.

    DTF and heat transfer

    Best on
Gloves, pads, guards, garments, care and brand labels
    Finish
Multi-colour logos and fine detail, pressed onto almost any material
  • A gloved hand lifting a screen-printing frame off a black T-shirt, the Sparwright logo freshly printed on the chest in white and red, the squeegee resting in white ink on the screen.

    Finish
Bold one- or two-colour logos, economical in bulk

Questions

Materials and branding: common questions

What private label brands and clubs ask before a first order.

Do you use genuine leather or synthetic leather?
Both, plus microfibre. Genuine cowhide or buffalo leather for premium lines and heavy daily use; synthetic (PU, Rexine or Maya hide) for member kit, starter ranges, bright colourways and lines with no animal leather; microfibre as a tear-resistant premium alternative. All three are made to the same construction and checked against the same approved sample.
Is any of the branding outsourced?
No. Sublimation, DTF and heat transfer, and screen print are all done in our Sialkot workshop, so the branding is inspected with the rest of the order. Care and brand labels are printed in-house too.
What glove weights do you make?
Boxing gloves in 8, 10, 12, 14 and 16 oz for adults, set by the type: competition, bag, training or sparring. Kids' boxing gloves in 4 or 6 oz. MMA open-palm gloves in S, M, L and XL, from 4 oz competition gloves to 10 oz heavy bag gloves. The weight is confirmed on your sample before bulk production.
What lifting belt thicknesses do you make?
Leather belts, including lever belts, in 10 or 13 mm, in S (28–32″), M (32–36″), L (36–40″) and XL (40–44″). A 13 mm belt is stiffer and suits heavy powerlifting; 10 mm breaks in sooner and suits most gym lifters.
Do you make BJJ gis?
Yes, in pearl or gold weave cotton: men's A0 to A5, women's F0 to F4 and kids' M0 to M4, with matching belts from white to black, rash guards and spats.
What machines do you stitch with?
Walking-foot machines for thick leather and heavy padding, lockstitch and overlock machines for apparel seams and edging, and a bar-tack machine for high-stress points such as belt loops and glove thumbs.
Can you write the tech pack for us?
Yes. Arrive with a tech pack and we build to it. Arrive with a sketch or a reference product and we write one: measurements, materials, artwork placement and the bill of materials, with the patterns made in CAD and graded digitally across your size range.
How are the panels cut?
Leather and synthetic sheet are die-cut on hydraulic swing-arm and beam presses, and CNC and laser cutters work straight from the digitally graded patterns, so every size in your range matches the approved sample.
What is the minimum order quantity?
50 pieces per design, or 50 pairs for gloves. A design is one product in one colourway, and you can split the 50 across sizes in any mix — for example, 50 pairs of gloves spread across 8 oz to 16 oz. A second colourway counts as a separate design. Different products can't be combined to reach 50, because each one has its own patterns and set-up.
Can you make a product that is not on your site?
Send a photo or a reference with your brief. If it is stitched or leather fight, fitness or lifting gear, we tell you whether we can make it before anything else is agreed.

Not sure we can make it? Send a photo.

A reference product, a sketch or a tech pack is enough. A person replies and tells you whether it can be made, and in which material.
