Specification

What goes into custom MMA fight gloves

MMA fight gloves have minimal padding, an open palm and exposed fingers, so a fighter can strike and grapple in the same glove. They are typically 4 oz and sized S to XL. Brands sell them as their fight glove and gyms order them for their fight team. We make them to your specification, padding, shell, finger loops, wrist strap, colours and logo, and you approve a sample before bulk. Check your governing body's rules for sanctioned events.

A brand we make for

“What arrived matched what we approved.”

We sell boxing, MMA and strength gear under the Athlomax name, so consistency matters more to us than anything. Sparwright made our wrist wraps, knee wraps, lifting straps, boxing gloves, MMA gloves and shin guards. We saw a mockup first, then a physical sample before committing to bulk. What arrived matched what we approved. Communication was straightforward despite the time difference. We've since reordered.

Questions

Questions about custom MMA fight gloves

7 answers buyers ask for most. Choose one to open it.

Still have a question?

Ask it the way you would ask a coach. A person replies within one working day.

Are your MMA fight gloves approved for sanctioned events?
We do not claim approval from any governing body. Check the rules for the events your fighters enter, and tell us in your brief, so what can be met is confirmed before you order.
Can one order mix sizes S to XL?
Yes. 50 pairs per design of one design can be split across sizes in any mix, with no minimum per size.
Can the gloves match our fightwear?
Yes. The shell and trim colours and your logo are set on the mockup, and fight shorts and rash guards can be ordered in the same colours alongside.
What do the mockup and sample cost?
Mockups are free, with as many changes as you need. The physical sample is priced on its specification and customisation, so its price depends on what you choose, and it is in your quote before we make it. The sample reaches you in 7–10 days, and when you go ahead with bulk, half of the sample price is credited against your bulk order. If the sample needs changes, the revised sample and its price are agreed with you before we make it. If a change is needed because we made a mistake, the revised sample is free.
Can you make MMA fight gloves under our own brand?
Yes. Your logo, printed labels and packaging are part of the specification, and your artwork, mockups and approved specification stay yours. We never sell your design or make it for anyone else.
Will a reorder match the first batch?
Your approved sample stays in our workshop for at least two years after your last order and your specification is stored digitally, so a reorder doesn't need a new sample: it goes straight to production, from 25 per design. Your dispatch date is confirmed in writing when you place it. How reorders work
How long does an order take?
Production starts when you approve your sample, and bulk typically takes 4–6 weeks from approval, plus courier transit. Your exact dispatch date is confirmed in writing with your quote.
