What goes into custom fight shorts

Fight shorts have to move with the fighter: split legs and side panels for kicks and grappling, and a waistband that stays put through a round. MMA shorts usually close with a hook-and-loop waistband; boxing trunks usually have a wide elastic waistband. We make both to your specification, fabric, cut, panels, waistband, colours and branding, and you approve a sample before bulk.

Choosing and using

Getting custom fight shorts right

Sublimated, printed or both

Most fight shorts are sublimated: the design is dyed into the polyester, so a full-colour pattern runs from seam to seam without cracking or peeling, however hard the shorts are worn. A one or two-colour logo on a plain short can be screen printed or applied by DTF instead.

The method for your design is agreed on your mockup and confirmed on the sample, so you see the real colours on the real fabric before bulk.

Questions

Questions about custom fight shorts

7 answers buyers ask for most. Choose one to open it.

Still have a question?

Ask it the way you would ask a coach. A person replies within one working day.

Sublimated or printed fight shorts?
Sublimation suits full-colour designs that run edge to edge, because the dye is in the fabric and cannot crack or peel. A simple logo on plain shorts can be screen printed or applied by DTF. The method is agreed on your mockup.
How are fight shorts sized?
From XS to 3XL, by waist, hip and leg length. A size chart is agreed for each garment and every size is measured against it before dispatch.
Can the shorts match our gloves and rash guards?
Yes. One colour reference is used across the order, so sublimated shorts, rash guards and printed gloves read as one kit. Each product has its own minimum.
What do the mockup and sample cost?
Mockups are free, with as many changes as you need. The physical sample is priced on its specification and customisation, so its price depends on what you choose, and it is in your quote before we make it. The sample reaches you in 7–10 days, and when you go ahead with bulk, half of the sample price is credited against your bulk order. If the sample needs changes, the revised sample and its price are agreed with you before we make it. If a change is needed because we made a mistake, the revised sample is free.
Can you make fight shorts under our own brand?
Yes. Your logo, printed labels and packaging are part of the specification, and your artwork, mockups and approved specification stay yours. We never sell your design or make it for anyone else.
Will a reorder match the first batch?
Your approved sample stays in our workshop for at least two years after your last order and your specification is stored digitally, so a reorder doesn't need a new sample: it goes straight to production, from 25 per design. Your dispatch date is confirmed in writing when you place it. How reorders work
How long does an order take?
Production starts when you approve your sample, and bulk typically takes 3–5 weeks from approval, plus courier transit. Your exact dispatch date is confirmed in writing with your quote.
