01·Specification
What goes into custom head guards
Custom head guards for sparring, made to your specification. The style sets how much of the face they cover: open-face for the widest vision, cheek protectors for more coverage at the side, and full-face for the nose and chin. We make them to your style, shell, padding, fastening, colours and logo, in the same colours as your club's gloves, and you approve a sample before bulk.

Getting custom head guards right
01
Open face, cheek or full face
Open-face head guards give the widest vision. Cheek-protector styles add coverage at the side of the face, and full-face guards protect the nose and chin as well. Each is a different product with its own patterns, so each style needs its own minimum.
For competition, check your governing body's rules before choosing. We make head guards to your specification and do not claim any governing body's approval.

We make head guards to your specification and do not claim any governing body's approval. If you need gear for a sanctioned event, check that body's requirements first.
Can the head guards match our gloves?
Yes. One colour reference and one logo treatment carry across head guards and gloves in the same order. Each is its own product with its own minimum.
Do you make kids' head guards?
Yes. A one-size junior head guard fits 50–52 cm, and S and M are recommended up to 14 years old, all in the same colours and branding as the adult range. Junior and adult sizes of the same design count towards one 50 pieces per design.
Where does our logo go on a custom head guard?
On the brow or the cheek, where it stays visible in use, applied by DTF, heat transfer or screen print. Placement and size are shown on your free mockup and confirmed on the sample.
Can one head guard order cover every size and two colours?
Yes. 50 pieces per design, split across junior to XL in any mix. One design can also come in two colourways, with at least 25 in each, for example one colour for juniors and one for the fight team.
What do the mockup and sample cost?
Mockups are free, with as many changes as you need. The physical sample is priced on its specification and customisation, so its price depends on what you choose, and it is in your quote before we make it. The sample reaches you in 7–10 days, and when you go ahead with bulk, half of the sample price is credited against your bulk order. If the sample needs changes, the revised sample and its price are agreed with you before we make it. If a change is needed because we made a mistake, the revised sample is free.
Can you make head guards under our own brand?
Yes. Your logo, printed labels and packaging are part of the specification, and your artwork, mockups and approved specification stay yours. We never sell your design or make it for anyone else.
Will a reorder match the first batch?
Your approved sample stays in our workshop for at least two years after your last order and your specification is stored digitally, so a reorder doesn't need a new sample: it goes straight to production, from 25 per design. Your dispatch date is confirmed in writing when you place it. How reorders work
How long does an order take?
Production starts when you approve your sample, and bulk typically takes 4–6 weeks from approval, plus courier transit. Your exact dispatch date is confirmed in writing with your quote.
