What goes into custom kids' BJJ gis

Custom kids' BJJ gis are the junior version of your academy's kit: the same colours, collar and logo as the adult gis, cut on the M scale from M0 to M4. Most academies choose pearl weave for juniors, because it is lighter and softer and dries quickly between classes. The weave, colours, contrast stitching and branding are agreed with you, and you approve a sample gi before bulk, with junior belts made in the same order.

Getting custom kids' BJJ gis right

Matched to your adult gis

A junior gi is its own pattern, cut for a child's proportions, but it is specified from your adult gi: the same colour, collar colour, contrast stitching and logo placement, so the whole academy reads as one team on the mat.

The sizes run from M0 for the youngest juniors to M4 for older children. Your split across the sizes is confirmed before bulk, and the sample gi is checked against the agreed size chart.

What sizes do kids' BJJ gis come in?

Can the kids' gis match our adult gis?
Yes. The junior gi is specified from your adult gi, in the same colour, collar, contrast stitching and logo placement, so juniors and adults train in the same kit.
Can kids' and adult gis be in one order?
Yes, in one order and one colour scheme. The kids' gi is cut on its own pattern, so it is its own design and needs its own minimum of 50 pieces per design, split across the M sizes in any mix.
Do you make junior belts too?
Yes. Junior belts in the kids' colours, white, grey, yellow, orange and green, made in the same order as the gis so they arrive together.
What do the mockup and sample cost?
Mockups are free, with as many changes as you need. The physical sample is priced on its specification and customisation, so its price depends on what you choose, and it is in your quote before we make it. The sample reaches you in 7–10 days, and when you go ahead with bulk, half of the sample price is credited against your bulk order. If the sample needs changes, the revised sample and its price are agreed with you before we make it. If a change is needed because we made a mistake, the revised sample is free.
Can you make kids' BJJ gis under our own brand?
Yes. Your logo, printed labels and packaging are part of the specification, and your artwork, mockups and approved specification stay yours. We never sell your design or make it for anyone else.
Will a reorder match the first batch?
Your approved sample stays in our workshop for at least two years after your last order and your specification is stored digitally, so a reorder doesn't need a new sample: it goes straight to production, from 25 per design.
